Unfortunately, due to low salaries that can no longer cover the rising living costs after the VAT increase and the implementation of fiscal austerity measures by the Bolojan Government, many immigrants do not even sign their resignation and leave Romania illegally to other EU member states<\/p>\n
Illegal migration can lead to severe consequences, both for the workers who risk being arrested and deported and banned from entering the Schengen area, and for our country, which risks being severely sanctioned if it does not react immediately and alert the police database so that the competent authorities in the Member States cooperate in the search for illegal immigrants.<\/p>\n

Authorities in Romania can alert the Schengen Information System. The employer can notify the General Inspectorate for Immigration, signaling the Schengen Information System of the employee's disappearance from the workplace. Immigrants from non-EU countries have a residence permit in Romania which is strictly conditioned to the activity carried out on the national territory.<\/p>\n
The general manager of Work from Asia, Yosef Gavriel Peisakh, underlined that such situations are becoming more common and called for a \"clearer\" administrative framework.<\/p>\n
