There are currently around 3 000 Filipino workers in Romania, and the number is set to double in the coming year, following diplomatic efforts between the two countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a result of the extensive bilateral relations between Romania and the Philippines, in 2024 a series of specific events were organized through the Romanian Embassy in the Philippines, aimed at facilitating the meeting between the Romanian business environment and the Philippine government.<\/div>\n

This official framework has allowed the signing of one of the most important contracts for the recruitment of Filipino labor, which aims to bring more than 3,000 truck drivers from the Philippines and more than 500 caregivers for people with disabilities to fill the shortage in Romania.<\/div>\n

\"We are continuing our pilot project to recruit and place 3,000 truck drivers and 500 carers for people with disabilities. Our hope is to open up the market for ride sharing drivers and truck and car mechanics as well. One of Work from Asia's goals for 2025 is to get approval for a specific labor contract I have proposed for Filipino workers in Romania. In this regard, a new, updated memorandum on the placement of Filipino labor in Romania is expected to be signed in Bucharest in March,\" said Yosef Gavriel Peisakh, general manager of the company, quoted by adevarul.ro<\/div>\n

There are currently around 3,000 foreign workers from the Philippines in Romania, and the number is set to double in the coming year, thanks to diplomatic efforts between the two countries.<\/div>\n
Bureaucracy remains one of the main challenges still facing the import of foreign labor to Romania, say representatives of the foreign worker recruitment firm.<\/div>\n
