If until recently, the construction sector dominated the figures generated by the employment of foreign labor force in Romania, in 2022 this hierarchy will change. HoReCa has seen a spectacular increase in the number of staff brought in from Asia, and the situation is similar in the automotive services sector, data provided by recruitment agency Work from Asia shows.<\/span><\/p>\n The main reason why most foreign workers prefer to come to Romania is\u00a0money, with salaries in our own country being up to three times what they could have earned in their home country<\/strong>. Thus, foreign staff is motivated to work in the country and has the stability offered by the employment contract.<\/span><\/p>\n Here, wages are two or even three times higher, in some cases, than these workers could have earned in their home countries, which of course motivates them. Another clear contractual advantage is that the employer also provides room and board.<\/p>\n Yosef Gavriel Peisakh, general manager Work from Asia<\/p>\n In terms of employers' reasons for opting for foreign workers, the top reasons are\u00a0<\/span>entrepreneurs' need for stable staff in the context of the massive migration of Romanian staff<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>Asian employees' determination to do their best at work,<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>to support the families left behind.<\/p>\n Philippines and Indonesia\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>are countries that have recently delivered a very large number of foreign workers to Romania, territories where the processing of work visas is now faster and the waiting time is not 8 months, as is the case in other Asian countries.<\/p>\n \"This year we see that Romanian entrepreneurs have become even more confident in foreign labor and that\u00a0<\/span>have started early preparations for the summer season with staff in Asia<\/strong>.
